Sanhita Chakrabarti (Back to top)

After graduating from Calcutta University in India in 1992, Sanhita undertook a year of house officer jobs in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before proceeding to the United Kingdom to pursue higher studies. Sanhita has worked and trained as a gynaecologist within the NHS before joining the training programme for Public health in 2004. Sanhita has successfully acquired membership of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Membership of the Faculty of Public Health. Sanhita is currently in the last phase of training in Public Health.

Uy Hoang (Back to top)

Uy Hoang is currently the Walport Academic Fellow in Public Health at the University of Oxford and Specialist Registrar in Public Health at Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust. His area of interest spans the intersection between mental health and public health with a focus on inequalities in mental health and the mental health issues for refugee populations. He has worked as both a psychiatrist and public health specialist and holds a medical degree from the University of London and an MPH (Master of Public Health) from Yale University.

Kelechi Nnoaham (Back to top)

4th year Specialist Registrar in Public Health, currently on academic secondment to Oxford University and registered on a DPhil in Public Health. Recently designed mathematical model to predict volume and cost implications of bowel cancer screening in five South Central PCTs and worked with GPs in Oxfordshire to design and adopt annual health check templates for people with learning disability. Also recently reviewed, for Oxfordshire County Council, the transition strategy for people with learning disability and challenging behaviour. Career interests lie at the interface of local public health service and academic public health. Publications of note relate to vitamin D, tuberculosis and hand-washing.
